American attorney and author who served as First Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017. A graduate of Princeton and Harvard Law School, she worked as a lawyer, city administrator, and community outreach worker before her husband Barack Obama's presidency. As First Lady, she launched the 'Let's Move!' campaign against childhood obesity and championed girls' education globally through the 'Let Girls Learn' initiative. Her memoir 'Becoming' (2018) sold over 17 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling memoirs ever. She consistently ranks among the most admired women in the world.
